Heute ist Montag. Vorgestern hat Deutschland bei der  Europawahl  gewählt.  Oder kann man auch sagen. Vorgestern hat Deutschland an der Europawahl teilgenomen. Wir können auch sagen, Deutschland hat sich an der Europawahl beteiligt. 


Wenn man sich an einem Ereignis, einem wetbewerb oder einer Aktivität beteiligt , verwendet wir die Präpositionen an .
